THE GEOCITIES PROJECT

When GeoCities closed down October 26, 2009, we lost a bit of our collective history. In the mid-90s early communities of cosplayers and convention goers have built their own online space. A few groups have managed to archive around 1 TB of pages before the service elapsed. We are currently searching through mirror sites to recover convention reports and convention photos of cosplayers.
